I. Introduction

The purpose of this program aims to strengthen overall relations between ASEAN and India through the way of talent cultivation. The Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) initiative is one of the most widely accepted solutions to address all these engineering issues. The purpose of this program aims to promote the CDIO regional alliance organization and interdisciplinary engineering education. Through the CDIO Summer Camp, the CDIO coaches will be invited from the top universities from Europe and America. Then Southeast Asian CDIO University students and Taiwan students will join together in an innovate project, and establish the platform between Taiwan and Southeast Asia CDIO universities. It is hoped that this will exert an influence on engineering education in Taiwan.

1. From2018 April16 to April20, Prof. Bing- Jean Lee the Chief Investigator of this program and other researchers went to Vietnam Duy Tan University to participated in CDIO Asian Regional Meeting. Prof. Bing- Jean Lee gave a speech about” Sharing the best CDIO Experiences”. The speech made in hits and many people wanted to know more about CDIO program. It was a great chance to make links between CDIO university in Southeast Asian Countries.

2. In this program we try to promote industry-university cooperation between the New Southbound. To achieved this goal, we visited The National University of Malaysia, Thai Nguyen University of Education and Singapore Polytechnic. We wanted to make strong connection between Taiwan and Southeast Asian Countries.

3. Beside academic exchange, we also went to industry visit. First we went to DAH LIH PUH GROUP in north Vietnam to achieved a consensus on building a talent cultivation cooperation. Second we went to Iskandar Malaysia to sign MOU in order to make long-term cooperation. By making good relationship with others, it would be an important asset in the near future.

4. In this program, we've hold 2018 CDIO Summer Camp from July 18 to July 27. There were 47 students from Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan. They worked together to solve problem of Feng Chia night market. By importing CDIO in this summer camp, students learned how to make ideas into realistic.
